Advocacy Director
Kori Thompson serves as the Advocacy Advisor for My Shine Is Mine, where she brings expertise in community engagement and policy advocacy. Wendy Jenkins,
Board Treasurer

Cynthia Goldsby Hunter,
Public Relations
Cynthia Goldsby Hunter is responsible for Public Relations at My Shine Is Mine, where she expertly manages our communication and outreach efforts. With a strong background in non-profit and community service, Cynthia enhances our organization’s visibility and fosters positive relationships with the community. Her strategic approach ensures effective messaging and strengthens our mission to empower teenage girls.
Wanda P Chambliss,
Board Member
With 39 years of distinguished service in the Army and Navy, Wanda has excelled in leadership roles across logistics, maintenance, transportation, and contracting, with career assignments in Germany, Japan, and Hawaii. Holding degrees in Psychology, General Administration, and Theology from Virginia State University, Central Michigan University, and Life Christian University, Wanda now brings their extensive experience to their role as a board member of My Shine Is Mine.
